DJ Hannahbella might be better known to the kids at J.W. Mitchell High School as Hannah Lynn Nelson-Hay. While Hay is an ordinary high school sophomore during the day, she becomes DJ Hannahbella in her off time.
Hannah’s love affair with music began around the age of 7, she told Patch.
“I always wanted a new instrument and discovered different sounds with my ears,” she said. “Music was there when no one (else was). As cliché as that sounds, it helped me. It helped me when I was dealing with built up emotions. It helped me with everything.”
